  1. I've heard of this book. If I'm not mistaken, the author of this book helped to influence another person who wrote Think and Grow Rich. I think I'll read this book (although I haven't bullied anyone recently). It might help me solve some mysteries.

I see an ad for "Fun Anti-Bullying Lessons" on the left o_0

  2. Is there a middle ground between hard core oralist and sign language nut?

  3. NO :) Winning friends and influencing people demands compromise, as does any relationship, but it's not a word either side understands. There are over 200 years of ingrained and entrenched views to overcome, not much will to do that either. I could never understand how a 200 year-old declaration can affect a totally different situation that has existed for over a generation, yet it does... It's a supreme reluctance to move on or out. An lack of confidence big time...

  4. JoeyRes- Is there a middle ground between a hardcore oralist and sign language nut? Sure. But, I don't know what the word for this would be. A hardcore pro sign and voice user nut?

  5. Why are some people so set on influencing others even when they are asked to mind their own business? Unless you are asked to provide your own ideas on how someone should be raised, how someone should communicate, or how someone should view themselves, stay out of it.
    Let it be.
MM is right--it should be about compromise.
