Should I Be Worried?

A tiny piece of plastic broke off my hearing aid. Should I be worried? Is it time for a new hearing aid?

  1. I wouldn't worry too much about that....if it comes to it you could always get the casing repaired, if you can't live without your hearing aid and don't have a spare I'd just let it ride.
I certainly wouldn't be rushing to buy new hearing aids unless you were thinking about it anyway :-)

  2. Thanks. I feel better. :)
I am in no hurry to spend a few thousand dollars on a new hearing aid.

  3. Not sure if I would be worried. Our 2yo daughter's aids' hatch (for programming it) keeps coming off. We mainly worry about debris getting in. We have gotten extra replacements now, but wouldn't you now it - after getting her latest molds fitted - they find out that one of the mics is bad. So is that a sign? Let's hope they can fix it.
