I decided to be creative and make a video about how we need to get over our differences and start getting to know each other and respect each other regardless of how we communicate, what technology options we utilize, and our backgrounds.

ReplyDeleteAny progress on he 'let's stop the whinging for the day ?" :) I'll do a vid of children playing in the park, birds singing, blue skies, pretty flowers, and will refrain from mentioning deafness at ALL for 24 hours, there must be other things in life... I tried it once, but deaf.read blocked it lol put it in the deaf graveyard of deaf.read extra.... It does seem to me sticking to deaf things annoys the hell out of most people....
ReplyDeleteWow.. great creativity you got there, pretty cool video. :-D Indeed, every person is different. It's annoying to the point where they think we all should be the same which will never happen.
ReplyDeleteI know many who use cued speech, I know many who use SEE, I know many who have CI and so forth who are happy with their own choices. I couldn't care less as long as we all respect each other despite of our differences.
