Here are a few more good websites offering free children's stories that are narrated in sign language.
- itv's Signed Stories (http://www.signedstories.com/) includes a range of great children's books that are subtitled and narrated in BSL (British Sign Language).
- If you have or use VRS, you can view children's books signed in ASL by dialing ASLstory.info on your videophone. (http://www.projectnadine.org/ASLstory.htm)
Hi (e!
ReplyDeleteThe first two signed stories are in British Sign Language, not in American Sign Language. Just FYI.

My goodness. Meant to type BSL instead of ASL. Oops, thanks. I don't function well early in the morning sometimes. :P
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Made some changes and clarifications. Should make more sense now.
ReplyDeleteI wish there was a website like 'Signed Stories' in ASL.
Anyone know of more websites offering great free videos of signed stories for children?
I can remember as a child reading Not now Bernard and The Hungry Caterpillar as a kid. Its nice to see they are still popular today. Especially The Hungry Caterpillar.
